Prayer Shawl Ministry

Members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry knit and crochet shawls, blankets, and other items for members of our parish and greater community who are in need of spiritual comfort. The handmade items are physical gifts and reminders to the recipients that they are being thought of, prayed for, and cared about. All items are prayed over and blessed before being distributed. We have gifted items to parishioners who are homebound, bereaved, ill, or otherwise in spiritual need as well as to Transitions, Birthright, and hospice.
All skill levels are welcome! We generally meet once a month for fellowship and support; most crafting is done outside of meetings. Every 1st Thursday at 7 PM in the Parish House.
